This policy explains how My Indie Library collects and uses information through the Android app, this policy site and support services.
Information we may collect
- name, username, email, profile details and authentication identifiers;
- book title, author name, cover, description, genres, themes, emotions, tropes, characters, romance information, language, age category, content warnings and external links;
- reviews, ratings, reports, blocked-user records and support messages;
- promotion-request details such as Instagram/TikTok usernames, book hook, keywords, campaign status and social-post links;
- technical data such as device/app identifiers, IP address, app version, crash logs, searches, clicks and interactions, depending on the SDKs used;
- transaction references or invoices if a paid campaign is later agreed outside the app.
How we use information
- manage accounts and listings;
- provide search, discovery and community features;
- manage Featured Campaign requests;
- moderate content and prevent abuse;
- provide support, security and analytics;
- meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Public information
Approved listings, author profiles, reviews, ratings and selected social links may be public. TikTok and Instagram promotional posts are public on those platforms.
Third parties
We may use providers for hosting, authentication, databases, storage, email, analytics, crash reporting, security and payment processing. External Amazon, TikTok, Instagram, GoFundMe and author links are governed by those services.
Retention and deletion
Data is retained only as reasonably necessary. Request deletion using the app where available or the Delete Account page. Limited legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute or accounting records may be retained where justified.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent and may complain to a data-protection authority.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13; any higher local minimum age applies.
