How to request deletion

Email indielibrarycustomerservice@gmail.com with the subject My Indie Library Account Deletion Request.

Include the email connected to the account, your username or author profile if applicable, and a clear deletion request.

Verification

We may request reasonable proof that you control the account. Never send a password or full card details.

What is deleted or anonymised

• account and authentication profile;
• name, email and profile details;
• saved preferences and personal lists;
• reviews, ratings and user content, subject to lawful anonymisation;
• book submissions where removal is requested and permitted;
• promotion-request data no longer required.

Possible retention

Limited records may be retained for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, rights-dispute or enforcement purposes only as long as necessary.

Timeframe

We aim to process verified requests within 30 days, subject to applicable law.

In-app deletion

If account creation is enabled in the published Android app, an in-app deletion path should also be provided. This page remains the external request route.
